Do you love to read, but can’t find the time to do it? Normally the only time I cracked a book open for pleasure was on my once a year weekly vacation to Minnesota. That’s all, I couldn’t otherwise fit it into my life.
I’d check out books, but then the stress of returning them before they were due was causing me to double my dose of Lexapro. I kid, but there was a serious stress factor, so I just stopped.
And then if I bought a book, I’d read a bit, but so much time would elapse from reading a few chapters to the next time I could do it, I would completely forget what was going on and have to start over again.
So I decided to write serials for people like me, people who can’t spend all day in bed reading, (which sounds amazing, but just not happening for me right now. Kids, work. Life is full.) I’d love to think that someday my stories will have the “Harry Potter” effect for adults. Harry Potter was single handledly responsible for getting kids reading again. I hope my stories have the same effect on busy moms who feel guilty taking time for themselves.
I want to give you a dark and sexy escape for just an hour. One hour: fast moving plot, satisfying sexy scenes, and uncovering the characters episode by episode. I stayed away from all the cliches. No billionaires and fresh faced proteges saying “Oh My.” (Does anyone really say that in real life?) Get an episode for less than your current Starbuck’s obsession and help me keep my fourteen year old in the lifestyle she has become accustomed to. 😉
When you buy from an Indie Author you are helping them live their dream. It’s not some faceless New York Publishing house with deep pockets. It’s a single mom, working a second job, punishing the keyboard at 3 am before the rest of her life starts and demands her attention.
PS. If you love these blog posts, help me keep the lights on and Doritos in the pantry for my teenager, by checking out one of my books below. There's something for everyone. "Velvet Guild" is naughty and explicit. (Erotic Romance), "Scotland with a Stranger" is a memoir of my trip to Scotland last May and "AnaStasia" is a parallel lives story (Women's Fiction)

Desperate times…call for sexy solutions.
Aimee is panicking, feeling like a middle-aged failure, barely scraping by, raising a teenager alone. She is also a submissive who yearns to be dominated in the bedroom.
Scotland with a Stranger:A Memoir
“Who goes to Scotland for two weeks with a stranger they met over the internet?”
At forty-three, Ninya was depressed, out of shape, and filled with crippling anxiety after addiction, cancer, and divorce had destroyed nearly everything. One day, she received a message from a stranger.
This is the story of one life, lived two different ways.
In one reality, “Stasia” is the beloved daughter of doting parents who spare no expense in supporting her ambition and talent.
In another reality, “Ana” washes dishes at a nursing home to buy her carefully-budgeted art supplies, waiting until her alcoholic father passes out before creeping downstairs to paint.
